I like solo journaling games, the end pretty much.
In the lists below I've written blurbs about each game, all of which I played and recommend, so you can click on the title of a list to see all the words which I've written, which may help you decide whether to take the plunge or not.
Additional notes:
- My preferred journal game style is "tables for prompts are good but give me as few as possible with flexible prompts." The minimum I feel comfortable with is one table for d6, and the max is apparently four. I dislike crunchy rules and stats.
- I am not a fan of combat or survival.
- Themes that involve self-harm are off the table for me.
- I have switched to not reviewing or commenting on games that are outside of these boundaries for me, mostly because it wouldn't be fair.
I generally don't make stuff. Instead I just try to review stuff I have played and liked for people to hopefully also find things to play and like.
